So in the beginning, Jason didn't pay too much mind to Gi-ne (his mistake...), but he did notice that she was able to kind of buddy with Royce, and he figured if you could buddy with Royce, you must not be so bad. He also thought maybe they had spoken elsewhere, and if Royce obviously had no open problem, maybe she wasn't such a butt. HIS MISTAKE. >:( GOD GI-NE.
He was pretty pissed at her when they came to kill him. He didn't know the catch, obv, and he didn't know if they were the ones mutilating people b/c shE HAD A CLEAVER DAMN, but he was mad for Royce's sake because he thought she had abused his trust, and he knew Royce didn't trust many people. He would have been so mad to know she felt good when Jay said Royce trusted her LMAO
But he was also scared! He didn't want to be tortured or butchered while alive (he had lived through enough of that shit), and he was too prideful to give the them the kill thinking they were the ones doing the random killing for no reason, so he decided to kill himself. HE WAS MAD THEY GOT TO KILL GREED BECAUSE HE TOOK THE KILL FROM HIM. So mad.
He also pretended to be the gunsmith to save Royce's tail, buT WELP THAT DIDN'T TURN OUT AS PLANNED THANKS A LOT RENA, though Gi-ne probably already figured Royce was the gunsmith anyway.
Truthfully, he kind of wanted to question them before he died, but he was desperate and flighty. He did notice Clarine saying they were trying to save everyone, so he died kind of like ????
And then tada, he is dead, and the truth revealed, and he really didn't harbor much hatred for Gi-ne or Clarine. He knows what it feels like having to get your hands dirty to "do the right thing." BE NICE TO HIS HETEROSEXUAL LIFE PARTNER, GI-NE.

Jason is a tsundere, so he has a soft spot for civilians (and some of the batkids) younger than him, so Max got the short end of the Jason Is Gonna Be a Sweetheart stick. He felt hella bad she had to see a lot of the stuff she did and felt even worse when she was crying or visibly upset. He's immune to it, but he gets he's a batfreak and that for most people seeing dead and butchered is a huge shock.
Max also helped him feel normal!! Which he appreciated. She humored him and put up with his dumb joking and didn't shun him when he offered the little bit of comfort he knew how to offer, and so he appreciated that the most, when people don't treat him like a criminal. (Granted, Max wouldn't necessarily know his story, but his skillset yo...) He worried a lot for Max's safety, and was always crossing his fingers the next morning in hope she wouldn't be dead and wouldn't be fucking mutilated. He might have pulled a Matt Mattson if they had found her body while he was alive.
He also really does think she is superhero material, and he wished he could recount the story of his life to prove to her why. If someone like him could be a Robin (even if he thinks he was a shitty ones b/c of things that happened), then Max definitely could be her world's Batman. Or well... a better Batman since Jason thinks Bruce is shitastic at a lot of things not crime-fighting.
Jay hopes she goes back and saves her city!! He is rooting for her hardcore, and he thinks she is cute and cool, and he would be hella impressed if he could see her super awesome time-altering powers. (And maybe a little jealous.)
I FORGOT TO SAY JAY IS GLAD SHE DIDNT GET TO BE ZAROFF BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE BEEN MAD AND SPANKED HER.

Ok so, Jason likes Stocking a lot because they have similar personalities plus they both have a sweet tooth. COMPADRE. Also, she was tsundere like him and gave him a lollipop, and he respected that since he knows it takes a lot to give something of yours to someone else. Stocking is also cute and quirky, and Jason appreciated someone alternative!
In the beginning, he was a bit suspicious of her like everyone else since she was so vocal, but didn't really let it turn him into a witch hunter. Some people are just louder than others about issues ok. He was pretty bummed when she died so early, and that's why he put the lollipop on her plate by her portrait. HONORING HER MEMORY. Then he let it get eaten in her honor, too because, yeah okay, point, Stocking probably would have rather it be eaten than left sitting there.
Unfortunately, Stocking also impacted him the most after death. The Glasgow she got (THANKS SHIJIMA???) really tripped him out because it reminded him of the Joker's exaggerated lips, and so he had a few PTSD moments thanks to Stocking's body and Stocking's marionette participation. GOOD JOB. You freaked out Jason Todd!!
He still likes her tho since he knows none of that was her fault, and he won't be forgetting her any time soon. Be his guardian angel ok Stocking WONK

Jason was impressed when Matt showed up because wow geez a blind guy on murder island!!! POOR GUY. But then he could see a bit more of the anger hiding under Matt's restraint, and he kind of appreciated that since he has his own Anger Issues. But it was for a good reason, the anger, Jason thought!!! Matt was always upset when there was injustice or intimidation or Bad Shit Going Down, and so Jason liked him for that. After a bit, Jason could tell Matt was pretty good at being a blind guy; i.e. getting around, telling people apart, staying alive, hearing. Pretty cool!!
For a while, Jason thought Matt was going to turn out to be the Rainsford since the irony of a blind guy protecting other people and all, but then they checked him and Matt was (whew) just innocent. Then he finally had a private convo with Matt it hopes to get an ally and to pass along some information. (Also it told Jason a bit more about Matt and how Matt worked.) He's glad he did even though the list went up and he didn't have a hand in it. THE LIST WASN'T REALLY WRONG AND HE WAS HOPING MATT WOULD VOUCH FOR IT ty Mattson.
JASON IS SAD HE DIDN'T GET TO SEE MATT IN BADASS ACTION. He would have been even more impressed to know Matt is a capable vigilante even with being blind!! Good job being a total badass!!

Even though Jason was suspicious of the most innocent people, Clarine still surprised him because GOD STOP LOOKING SO INNOCENT THEN TURN OUT TO BE A MURDERER (sort of) OKAY! He was surprised and disheartened to learn she was one of the Generals, and, honestly, Jason is such a big softy that if he had run all the way up and found out it was Clarine, he probably wouldn't have attacked her at all even without Gi-ne's rescue. He just can't hurt kids or girls, man. Fighting them, all right fine, but killing them even to save himself? GEEZ, DON'T DO THIS TO HIM.
But I liked that a lot and I should have dragged it out more!! Jason hasn't ever really much come up against a young lady "killer,: so it's neat to play with what he would do in that situation. On one hand, he's supposed to kill the criminals!!! On the other hand, he isn't going to hurt a young girl right!!!!
