Seeing that attitude of hers peek out through the harshness of their situation was something that she really appreciated, and that's pretty much why she gravitated towards her; people who are true to themselves and their own principles even when times are tough are people who have Stocking's utmost respect, and Clarine's strength of character really shone in spite of all the bullshit of the Hunt; that said, she certainly didn't expect to be considered a friend, mostly because Stocking doesn't really have anyone back home she can call that other than her sister (chalk that up to her awful mouth), so hearing that really left an impression on her.
As for giving her Honekoneko-san, well, as she said, she couldn't just leave her empty-handed after everything. She carries that damn cat wherever she goes, but she's confident Clarine will give him a good home too. Again, people deserve to have their efforts rewarded, and it'll at least make Stocking stop and grin every now and again as she wonders what kind of shenanigans he's getting into with one of the very few people who genuinely call her a friend (and one of the few people she's able to call one in return). Have lots of dessert together, kiddo ♥

She'd definitely like to get a rematch in, though, at some point. Her pride won't let her accept any substitutes for her loss other than that she didn't have her swords, but she knows that Gi-ne is a worthy opponent who doesn't pull punches now, at least. And she does have Stocking's respect for doing what she had to do. It's the sort of thing she kind of takes in stride, after all.

To be fair at first Stocking kind of looked down on her, simply by nature the fact that her disability more or less necessitated her needing to be coddled in one way or another and that's just weighing everybody down. She wasn't expecting it to be a front, so at the very least she can commend her for being a decent actress; Stocking's a good enough one too, after all, she's been in movies (not that anyone would know since Panty cut her out of the film.......).
There's something about Rei's brand of apathy that makes Stocking sort of stop and think, though; she's all for not giving a fuck and doing what you have to do to live for yourself, and she does respect Rei in a sense that she does just that...but it's not the good kind of taking no shit, it's the I'm tired and done brand of taking no shit that Shijima has down to an art form; the difference is that while she appreciates Shijima's sass a lot, something about Rei just seems fractured to her, and if she was a girl who cared more she'd probably pity her a bit, but again, she doesn't coddle people.
She's interested in the hypnosis, though, for sure, and honestly, she's got a bit of a romantic side to her, what with her fiancee and all, so she does wish the best for her and Hajime; the two have the sort of the relationship where they can benefit from each other, after all.

But there's something she grew to like about having him around, and she was more than satisfied to hear that he missed her after she passed! Sorry she couldn't be around for too long but, well, that's where having a big mouth gets you in this, huh?

But seriously, Stocking didn't really quite know where to pigeonhole Max at the start of things but seeing her bring her own unique personality to the table was really respectable to her; Stocking probably knew she was a bit overwhelming, but she's a fucking buster, so naturally she likes to push buttons every now and again. She was happy to see her being proactive and taking pictures of the bodies and whatnot, though; it's something she found admirable, and again, she wanted to make sure she knew it, too. As I said earlier with Clarine, she's a believer that people deserve to have their efforts rewarded, so seeing her get upset when they fucked up and got Sephiroth made her want to at least let her know that she did some good that day.
She's bad at the whole support thing, but even after she kicked the bucket, she saw that Max stuck to her guns and what she believed was right, and for Stocking that sort of thing is critical, so you're damn right she has the utmost respect for her; she's not used to being there for people, but she would be, if Max needed her to be. Just say who's ass she needs to kick, she'll take care of it!!!

But seriously, Stocking thought Matt was cool. Like, really cool. He's blind, but it doesn't impede him; he has this sort of quiet power about him, this very subtle emotion behind everything he does. When they're cracking jokes, it's a sly humor; when they're talking tense, there's a quiet rage. It makes him very hard to sort of pin down and judge, which is something Stocking does a lot, and as a result she took him seriously, which was just, damn. She was waiting to see what it'd be like when he made a move, big time.
Of course, she's still more than willing to tease him and play around a bit, as she is with everyone, but he gets props for being really cool, too, while they're at it. ...Oh, and the fact that he has a smoking hot bod helps, too.
