Shiki is ~~an allegory for the bolshevik revolution~~ a retelling of Stephen King's Salem's Lot a shitty vampire anime and Megumi is its shitty problematic decoy protagonist. She's petty, vindictive, sadistic, and just generally an awful person. You might earn her grudging respect if you know how to dress yourself, but she's not about to make any friends here.
